The Pulsefire Event is Live in League of Legends Here’s What You Can Get and What It Costs

A new event for League of Legends kicks off today at 1:00 PM PT, offering the opportunity to earn tokens for orbs, skins, and other cosmetics. The event culminates with the release of seven new skins, including one Prestige Edition skin. Here’s a breakdown of everything you can get from the Pulsefire Event before it ends on June 15.

URF

URF is Back
The Pulsefire Event brings back URF, everyone’s favorite game mode, for the entire month. URF goes live on May 14 and runs through June 15, 2020. Check out our URF coverage, including tier lists and guides, throughout the event.

Astronaut Skins

Three brand new Astronaut skins will be released during the Pulsefire Event: Gnar, Bard, and Poppy. These skins will join the existing Astronauts Nautilus and Teemo. The new skins will go on sale on May 28, 2020, each costing 1350 RP. You can also get chromas for these skins using tokens earned through missions.

Pulsefire Skins and Chromas

Four brand new Pulsefire skins will be available at the start of the event: Ekko, Fiora, Pantheon, and Lucian. Lucian will also get a Prestige Edition skin. The base Pulsefire skins will cost 1350 RP each, with optional chromas available for Ekko and Pantheon. The chromas will cost 290 RP each or can be purchased as part of a bundle.

Other Cosmetics

The Pulsefire Event introduces a new ward skin, the 2020 Pulsefire Ward, which is the first purchasable ward released this year. Champion border sets will also be available for the four Pulsefire champions, including a mega bundle with a skin, ward skin, and border icon. The bundles cost between 2600 and 2715 RP, depending on whether you own the champion.

Additionally, three new emotes and Pulsefire Orbs with a chance to drop random skin shards, Gemstones, or Mythic Skins will be available.

Missions

The Pulsefire Event includes various missions to unlock cosmetics and prizes. The missions are divided into four types: milestone, token, Pulsefire, and orb. To participate in the milestone and token missions, you need to purchase the Pulsefire Pass for 1650 RP, which includes 200 Pulsefire Tokens and four Pulsefire Orbs.

Here’s a summary of the mission types:

• Milestone Missions: Earn consumables like icons, emotes, Blue Essence, and a random Little Legend.
• Token Missions: Earn tokens by playing and winning various game types (Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, TFT, and URF).
• Pulsefire Missions: Complete specific tasks in-game to earn tokens.
• Orb Mission: Play 30 games to earn 60 tokens and a Pulsefire Orb.

Rewards

Here are the rewards you can unlock with tokens:

• 1 token = 10 Blue Essence
• 10 tokens = 100 Blue Essence
• 20 tokens = 1 key fragment
• 40 tokens = random emote
• 50 tokens = random champion shard
• 60 tokens = 1 key
• 180 tokens = 3 keys
• 250 tokens = Icon and border for Astronaut Gnar, Bard, Poppy
• 300 tokens = Chrono chroma and icon for Astronaut Gnar, Poppy, Bard, Teemo, Astronautilus
