Introducing the 2025 VCT Team Capsules

Riot Games has announced the 2025 VCT Team Capsules, building on the success of the previous year’s capsules. These capsules allow fans to support their favorite teams directly, with a portion of the proceeds going to the teams throughout the season.

Last Year’s Success

In 2024, the Champions Collection and Team Skins shared over $44 million USD with partnered teams, thanks to the support of fans. This year, the 2025 Capsules aim to continue this momentum.

New Features

• Team Capsules and Champions Collection: Returning favorites with new designs.
• Season Capsule: A new collection featuring a unique melee skin, inspired by the LOCK//IN collection from 2023. More details will be shared later in the year.
• Midnight Splash Theme: The 2025 Team Capsules feature a “Midnight Splash” theme combined with new branding from each partner team, creating an alternate jersey look for the Classics.

What’s in the 2025 Capsules?

Each Team Capsule includes:

• Upgraded Classic Skin: With team-themed design and new branding elements.
• Achievement Tracker Inspect: For teams with major victories.
• 2025 Player Card: With a premium finish, showcasing team identity and creativity.
• Original 2024 Spray and Gun Buddy: With discounts for returning owners.

Teams that have won major events, like EDG, will feature special “winner’s flair” on their Classics and player cards.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Team Capsules will be available throughout the season in the in-game Esports Store. They are priced at 2,320 Valorant Points (approximately $23 USD), with 50% of the profits going to the respective teams. Returning players will receive discounts for previously owned items.

Capsules for teams that earned promotion via Ascension, as well as Boom Esports, will be released later in the season.
